Sailing's Guide to New Small Boats

2015 June 1

Performance and style are hallmarks in boats sized to make getting on the water easier than ever

RS Quest

The RS Quest was developed as a training boat for Britain’s Sea Cadets. The stable, rotomolded hull with aluminum mast has a large, four-person self-draining cockpit. The boat can be rigged for either a symmetric or asymmetric spinnaker off a sprit, and the mainsail is easily reefed. The focus of the boat is enjoyment—it has enough storage space for daysailing, but it is light enough for exciting racing.
