Dream Yacht Charter open for business

2020 March 12
Dream Yacht Charter attracts new audiences

We are seeing interest in a range of our sailing vacations worldwide, including far-flung exotic locations and the Mediterranean. While we are helping our existing customers with their questions around the current uncertainty, we are attracting two new audiences.

We’re getting enquiries from younger customers who are looking to take advantage of the lower airfares, cheaper accommodation and our special offers. We’re also helping customers who have cancelled large ship cruises and still want to plan their 2020 vacations. These customers are interested in our by the cabin cruises and with over 30 routes to choose from and guaranteed departures, these are proving an attractive option.

If you can’t sail, our cabin cruises accommodate small groups of up to 12 people. Compared to a large cruise ship, our small cabin cruises mean you interact with fewer people and can enjoy the fresh air of the remote outdoors rather than breathing recycled air that has circulated around thousands of people.

Bareboat yacht charter vacations are attractive now because you can control who gets on board with you in terms of family and friends. You can also decide the itinerary and choose when and where you stop ashore. You can be self-sufficient on the water without need to go ashore, as our boats have generators and watermakers. You can go remote and head to secluded bays, coves and anchorages, where you will often be the only boat there. You don’t even need to dine at restaurants, you can order your provisions direct to your boat in many locations and dine aboard.

We have the most destinations available on the market and with over 60 to choose from, we have many that are largely unaffected by disruption. Or if you want to stay closer to home, we have bases that can be driven to, avoiding the need to visit airports. Our self-catering floating Aqualodge villas in Martinique and Guadeloupe are another option to consider. They sleep four people and have solar panels and watermakers on board, as well as water toys so you can explore the water.

For a sailing vacation, you do not need to take any additional precautions than you would do going about your daily business at home right now. Our boats are deep cleaned between charters and there is plenty of soap on board for regular handwashing.

We recognize there is uncertainty at the moment when it comes to travel. We’ve adapted our booking policy so customers can book with confidence, offering flexibility to change dates and destinations if they’ve booked a vacation in an affected area. We’ve also reduced our deposits for selected destinations, giving customers the option of minimum commitment.
