Fountaine Pajot has introduced the smallest boat in its line, a 40-footer with plenty of bells and whistles. The Lucia 40 is designed to feel more like a 45-footer, both inside and out. The hulls flare out above the waterline, providing more interior volume for living quarters. The berths in the aft cabins are more accessible, due to the widened hulls, plus three opening ports in each provide excellent ventilation. Details such as the aft-facing galley provide a nice pass-through to the cockpit and seating for more than a dozen people between the cockpit and saloon tables.
