The team at J/boats appears to have developed a boat that is all things to all people. This 40-footer offers a water-ballasted ride that promises to perform well on all points of sail. While speed on the racecourse is one thing, comfort for a family out for a weekend cruise is on point as well. The simplified and efficient sailplan is designed to be optimally handled by a crew of five or six. The fixed sprit offers a large triangle for a variety of sail options, perfect for “open course” racing as well as cruising.
