This new Hinckley has the same eye-catching looks of the earlier Hinckleys, but this boat is truly of the modern era. It has a carbon hull and deck, spacious saloon, and a dinghy garage. There is little sheer and the bow in nearly plumb. Designed by Bill Tripp III, it's meant for racing or cruising—its SA/D is 30.64 but it has a daggerboard that lifts to a draft of 6 feet 6 inches for those shallow anchorages.
