SAILING Magazine’s contributing photographers share their favorite images and what makes them so special

The 65-foot Icelandic ketch Arktika heads up the Johan Petersen fjord on the southeast coast of Greenland. “I had chartered Arktika for a seven-day photographic workshop with six shooters I was running,” said photographer Onne van der Wal, who is now using a Canon mirrorless EOS R. “We had hiked to the top of a hill overlooking the fjord as she motorsailed by us. What a view watching the glacier calve as she steamed by us.” vanderwal.com
