Guide to new boats

A new crop of exciting sailboats—from performance-oriented dinghies to drop-dead gorgeous flagships—is coming to a boat show near you
Beneteau Oceanis 35
The flexible Oceanis 35 comes with three keel options: a centerboard, a fixed shoal-draft keel and a deep-draft keel. That may seem like a lot, but that’s nothing compared to the deck and interior option. The boat is convertible, switching among five interiors to suit daysailing, weekending or cruising. Need three cabins? The 35 can accommodate, and then convert down to two cabins, and then change the two aft cabins into a locker and open space for daysailing. Beneteau calls the boat a “3-in-1” because of its versatility. LOA 32’9”; Beam 12’2”; Draft 3’9”-7’7” (lifting), 4’9” (shoal), 6’1” (deep); Displ. 11,476 lbs.; Price $195,000; www.beneteauusa.com
